Position 1: Attorney, Legal Research & Advisory
Qualification Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in law.
- At least Four (4) years relevant experience.

Legal Research and Advisory Officers are tasked with protecting the bank’s interests by preparing legal briefs, providing legal advice, offering opinions on laws, rules, regulations, and contracts in accordance with approved policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Position 2: Attorney, Litigation

- Bachelor’s Degree in Law.

Attorney Litigation is responsible for participation in representing the Bank before judicial & quasi- judicial tribunals, preparation and handling of cases (pleading, defenses and petition).
Position 3: Attorney, Sheriah & Legal Research and Advisory
Academic & Professional Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in law.
- Certifications in interest free banking is an added advantage.
- Additional certification in law, banking, finance or similar fields is an added advantage.

The Shariah & Legal Research and Advisory Attorney is tasked with conducting legal and Shariah research, scrutinizing various legal documents to ensure the correct use of legal and Shariah terms, and reviewing legal matters pertaining to new Islamic Finance Business (IFB) products and services introduced by the Bank. Moreover, this role involves providing legal advisory services for the IFB division of the Bank and preparing case documents (pleadings, defenses, and petitions) related to IFB window services in accordance with the country’s laws, approved policies, procedures, guidelines, SAC fatwas, and Islamic financial principles.
Position 4: Enterprise Compliance Officer
Academic & Professional Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in law preferable, Risk Management, Economics, Accounting, Finance, or Banking.
- At least Four (4) years relevant experience.

Enterprise Compliance Officer is responsible for following up the Bank’s functions in full compliance with all banking laws, regulations, internal policies & procedures; identifying any exceptions or violations and reporting same with recommendation to his/her supervisors; ensuring risk taking remains to be within the domain of the stipulated regulatory requirement as per the approved policies, procedures and guidelines.
Position 5: Enterprise Compliance Specialist
Academic & Professional Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in law preferable, Risk Management, Economics, Accounting, Finance, or Banking. Master’s degree in business administration, Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or related business field from a recognized institution is an added advantage.

The Enterprise Compliance Management Specialist leads and coordinates the bank’s operations to ensure compliance with all relevant laws, policies, procedures, and NBE directives. Additionally, this role involves identifying any violations, reporting them along with recommendations, and ensuring that risks are managed within the scope of regulatory requirements and in line with approved policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Position 6: IT Architecture & Modernization Officer
Academic & Professional Qualification and Experience

The IT Architecture & Modernization Officer participates in developing comprehensive modernization requirements for both applications and systems, establishing a foundation for seamless interoperability, building a strong security architecture to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance, and tackling issues arising from disorganized systems and poor communication that affect operational efficiency. Moreover, this role involves updating obsolete infrastructure and leveraging the capabilities of new technologies.
Position 7: IT Architecture & Modernization Specialist
Academic & Professional Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Computer Information System, Software Engineering or any other equivalent field.

IT Architecture & Modernization Specialist is responsible for formulating comprehensive modernization requisites that encompass both applications and systems, laying the groundwork for smooth interoperability, constructing a robust security architecture that safeguards sensitive data and adheres to compliance standards and addressing challenges stemming from disorganized systems and inadequate communication that undermine operational efficiency. In addition, the role holder is also responsible for repairing outdated infrastructure, including harnessing the potential of emerging technologies.

Position 9: Manager, Enterprise Compliance Management
Academic & Professional Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in risk management, Economics, Law, Accounting, Finance, or Banking, master’s degree in business administration, Accounting, Finance, Law, or related business field from a recognized institution is an added advantage.
- Professional certification in Risk Management; Financial Risk Management (FRM), RCP Level 3, Chartered Risk Analyst (CRA) or Governance Risk and Compliance Management (GRCM).
- Minimum of Eight (8) years relevant experience out of which two (2) years at middle or line management post.

Senior System Administrator is responsible for the crucial job of maintaining the computer systems of the Bank. In addition, he/she will be responsible for installing, maintaining, configuring and upgrading of Operating System, End User applications, IT equipment and Support systems.
Position 17: Branch Manager I
Academic & Professional Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, management, economics, business administration and other related fields
- Minimum of seven (7) years relevant experience out of which One (1) year in supervisory post.

The Branch Manager will plan, organize, lead, and control the banking activities of a branch office. S/he will ensure that operating procedures, rules, and code of practices of the Bank and regulators directives and country law are adhered to by all staff. S/he will also coordinate the sales/business development efforts of the branch.
The Branch manager will also lead the customer service initiatives and guides branch operational excellence. S/he will prepare and submit annual budget, work plan and activity and progress reports. The jobholder will also participate in various community activities and keep in close touch with the business community to promote services offered by the Bank.
